Latest Lilith Collaboration with Sarah McLachlan Marks New Creative Direction for Designer Susan Fiedler

2010
Susan Fiedler is pleased to be collaborating once again with Sarah McLachlan to produce jewelry for Lilith.

“Sarah is great to work with – she really understands how to design jewelry – and we share the same values when it comes to making socially and environmentally responsible product from eco-friendly reclaimed sterling silver right here in Canada,” says Susan.

Designed by Sarah, the delicate, ethereal silver pendant and earrings give fans the opportunity to take away a Lilith memento that lets them connect to Sarah in a very personal way. "I have always had a great love for jewelry. I wanted to create something beautiful that people could treasure as a memento of this event. I chose the leaf motif as it holds all the elements of nature’s creation, the seasons and the passing of time, change and renewal," says Sarah.

The 2010 collection for Lilith is the latest collaboration in their long-standing relationship. Susan and Sarah have been working together since 1996 – earlier designs include pieces for the Surfacing and Afterglow tours.

Susan’s talents as an artist and her interest in music have made for a natural connection to the pop world and as a result, she has been commissioned to design jewelry as merchandise for a number of other superstars including the Rolling Stones, Michael Franti and the Barenaked Ladies.

The collection is available for sale at Y Yoga and online here. For more information on the Lilith collection please see the project spotlight.
