The East Van Cross Project began with the iconic Monument for East Van sculpture created by Ken Lum. Inspired by this meaningful piece of public art, designer Susan Fiedler conceived a fundraising initiative to benefit Pivot Legal Society, which works to create social and systematic change in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. Supported by the City of Vancouver through a licensing agreement, Fiedler designed two pendants based on the sculpture, raising over $3000 for Pivot Legal Society.
